Diving Tour: From highland Lakes to the Black Sea

 

1 day: Arrival to Tbilisi International Airport. Check – in Hotel. We go to Laguna Vere diving center, will choose our ammunition and make chack-diving (depth 6 meters). Excursion around Tbilisi.

2 day: Transfer to Borjomi. On our way we’ll visit old monastery Jvari (6th century), from where you’ll spectate an amazing panoramic view of how two rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari meet each other. Visit also old capital of Georgia Mtskheta ann Shiomghvime Monastery situated on the left bank of the river Mtkvari, founded in the 6th century. To the road near Gori we’ll visit Cave – city Uplistsikhe. Later walking tour around Borjomi Park and drinking water of famous mineral water right from the spring.

3 day: On our way to the lake Tabatskhuri we stop in Bakuriani. We’ll dive two times into the lake and stay for the night in the village Tabatskhuri 2000m above the sea level.

4 day: Transfer to Kutaisi. Excursion to the caves of Tskhaltubo + 2 divings in siphons. For all divers the entrance is through the river Kumi, 7m depth, visibility 4m, temperature 14 grades, length 35m – get out in the village Kumistavi. #2 River Kumi, more difficult siphon, length 40m, depth 8m visibility and temperature the same as in first case.

5 day: Transfer to Batumi. Dinner and get known with IMereti region kitchen in Kutaisi. A little excursion to Gelati monastery (12th century). Evening excursion in Batumi.

6 day: Round trip – Batumi – Sarpi – Kvariati. In the morning we’ll dive in Sarpi and spectate Black sea underwater world. Dive in Kvariati spectate rocky underwater landscape and underwater form of mussels. Visiting of Gonio Fortress, Aqua park and Dolphinarium. Night Diving.

7 day: Gonio – Green cape. Get deep into the sea by the launch. Deep water diving 35 meters (only for advance divers.) Excursion Around Botanical Garden,  picnic at the sea shore, excursion around night Batumi, up to the mount Batumi by the cable way.

8 day: Diving “in the wake of Argonauts” Diving in Tsikhisdziri is more interesting from archeological point of view. Here you’d be able to find ancient thinks like amphora, jug, anchor or the remains of an old ships. Trout dinner near the river Kintrishi. Excursion around Kobuleti and time at the beach.

9 day: Kolkheti National Park, transfer to Tbilisi. Excursion to the Lake Paliastomi, river Pechora and Kolheti forests where you’d be able to spectate and enjoy wild beauty of the nature.

10 day: Transfer to the airport.

 

Tour Price:

For 1 person (including 10 dives) -795 euros.

Tour price without diving 525 euros.

We take on a group of 3-8 persons.

 

Tour price includes:

• 3x meals a day + picnics with Georgian wine.

• Accommodation in hotels, guest houses, camps or in pheasant’s house.

• All the specialized ammunition and 2 diving instructors throughout the tour.

• Transfer with mini bus.

*If your flight is in the evening and you want to stay in Guest house (hostel) until the evening you’d pay for additional day.

 

**If you arrive to Kutaisi international airport then you can take scheduled bus to the center of Tbilisi price per person 25 Gel and is not included in tour price. We can help you to reserve tickets of this bus. In that case tour would be even cheaper
