Biking in Batumi

 

Batumi – an ideal place for biking. Alongside the sea shore there is about 7 km of bicycle path. On foot it’s quite difficult and boring but by bicycle it’s easy and fun. By this path we will go from new boulevard towards old, stopping during the way  to take photos and listen interesting stories about buildings and places and different interesting sculptures.

 

                After new boulevard we are heading towards Lake Nurigeli, next to dolphinarium, and then through the old part of the city by little narrow streets. There are also bicycle paths. We’ll stop near Europe square, Astrological clocks, theatre of Chavchavadze, Piazza square, Turkish mosque, and cableway. Ride to the sea port towards old boulevard and here our excursion finishes.

 

Tour price: 20 Gel per person.

Not included: rent of the bike.  

 

Beginning at 10:00 am or 7:00 pm meeting point next to tourism information center in boulevard.

Duration 2-3 hours.

 

​Bike for rent can be Batumi Velo paid at info center or private rent in the boulevard.
